I am having the WORST dress regret! And I normally wouldn’t post something like this online. I was even debating on posting a TikTok video just to hear some outside feedback.

I bought my dress 2 weeks ago. Or what I thought was the dress. Just like every other bride with dress regret, I was inbetween two dresses. The first picture is dress A. This is the one I chose. It has a simple, classic look with a pointy sweetheart neckline. The second picture is dress B. This was my first choice before trying on dress A. Dress b has the jacquard fabric and a sweetheart neckline into a mermaid dress at the bottom.

To preface, I’m getting married in Mexico in November.

Dress b was my number one for a few weeks. Dress A also comes with a scarf that I did purchase with the dress.

I also should’ve probably took a night to decide, when I tried on dress A, I automatically thought this was the one. And for something like this, I trusted my gut. But after a few days of looking at pictures, I feel like dress B falls better on my body, and dress A looks like a prom dress; while dress B fits the tropical island vibes with the floral pattern.

I tried calling the boutique and they already confirmed that they ordered dress A. I know I can always alter the dress to fit more of the style of dress B, but I really feel like that jacquard fabric makes a difference.

But now I’ve been nonstop stressing if I ordered the right dress. And what’s worse is my mom bought it so I feel extra guilty if dress A isn’t the dress, and I don’t think I have it in me to buy another dress. Idk I’m spiraling and I know I’ll end up loving dress A eventually but having this dress regret gives a pit in my stomach that makes this whole wedding experience unenjoyable because I’m constantly stressing over a dress…
