Finding a house in Amersfoort/Almere

Hi everyone, I just got accepted for a job near Amsterdam. It’s an position with a salary of around €3200 gross per month.

Right now, my commute would be about 3 hours, so I’m planning to move closer. I’m considering Almere, Hilversum, or Amersfoort.

I know there’s a housing crisis, but I was wondering how feasible it is to actually find a place in these cities. Has anyone here managed to find housing in one of them? How long did it take you?

Also, do you have any recommendations for makelaars or general tips for finding a place? In these city’s

BTW 23M here, know Almere is fun but never been to Amersfoort or Hilversum. Are these cities social/fun with things to do for internationals?
