PETG-HF extrusion issues?
Have gotten the hang of PLA printing over the last couple months, and was branching out into PETG, but I've been having tremendous issues with it. I am using Bambulabs PETF-HF on an A1, and I made sure to load the PETG-HF settings. Whatever I do, the extruder keeps clicking, missing little sections of the print. It happens within seconds of starting the print (literally even on that little calibration line it does at the start, there's little chunks missing where it didn't extrude anything). As it prints, the extruder gear will click, and a little line will be empty where no filament came out.
I made sure to dry the filament before use, and was drying it DURING the printing so I don't think it's a moisture issue either. I did multiple cold pulls, and did a full strip down and clean of the extruder. Same issue. I'm running a PLA print right now and it's working fine so the printer, extruder, and nozzle must all be fine.
Is there a setting I need to change? A quick google suggested a few things (use generic PETG profile, use higher temp, use LOWER temp, etc) but nothing consistent. I've heard that PETG is sensitive to draft, and I am using it in a ventilated enclosure, but surely that shouldn't cause extrusion issues?
