Why are CEOs of big tech corporations pushing people to go to trade school and ditch college and work as electricians or plumbers ? It seems sus.

Obviously all respect for those jobs, they deserve respect, good salary, and I absolutely don't want to disrespect them with this post or insult them, they are important and needed, but big CEOs surely don't have people's interests in their mind and instead profit, so what is the deal? Like, do they want to do like with computer science and coding, do they want to saturate these jobs? Why? Is it really a good idea to skip college and go to trade school, or are there a lot of downsides?
