Early move out (roommate agreement)

Question/Tenant

I’m renting a room in a multi-tenant house where the landlord also lives and we share common areas ( kitchen, washroom, living room). I signed a 1-year agreement that’s supposed to end in May, but I’m planning to move out mid-April due to job relocation.

The agreement doesn’t say anything about early move-out or notice period, and since I know this setup isn’t covered by the RTA, I’m a bit confused about what actually applies here.

I gave my 3 weeks’ notice, is that considered reasonable?

Also, can I just pay prorated rent up until my move-out date (on the 17th), or can the landlord require me to pay for the full month?

For context, landlord didn't require last month’s rent when I moved in, just a key deposit.
