Anyone working with ‘smart-dumb split’ options?

My bad luck asking on April 1st lol but serious ask even if I’m struggling the right way to word it

I have some needs for a smartphone on the side of social media-like message services (Discord mostly), general online access and occasionally posting my art onto social media platforms. I’m seeking a dumb phone for the sake of minimizing usage of my phone and addictive ‘slop social media’ (instagram) as a time-killing tool. What has been other people’s solution for this?

Secondarily my current idea to make this work is a sideload device/ ‘smartphone’ PDA like a non-scanner Zebra or some other wifi only Android OS device and a flip phone with a hotspot (or additional hotspot device), at craziest maybe some ‘minimal mode’ access for direct messages off social media as text messages. Any tips or devices to recommend if I’m able to tackle things this way?
