Is Gen Z too obsessed with looks right now?

Discussion

So I genuinely don’t understand this whole “face card” thing Gen Z keeps pushing and yeah, I’m Gen z too and just as a person… I feel insecure sometimes. I think most of us do, even if we don’t say it out loud.

But everywhere I look, it’s just “face card this, face card that.” Like your entire worth is your face, your body, how perfect you look.

It just feels unrealistic. And honestly, a bit exhausting.

Yes, looks matter to some extent I’m not denying that. But it’s not everything. The way you carry yourself, your mindset, your personality… those things matter too.

Not everyone wants to chase perfection 24/7 Some of us just want to be healthy, happy, and at peace.

And I don’t think that makes anyone less.

Am I the only one who feels like this? What do you guys think?
