Scholarship reconsideration and seat deposits

In my scholarship reconsideration I stated my intentions to submit seat deposits for two other schools that offered me more money. Would the school I’m negotiating with request proof that I actually did pay the seat deposits for the other two schools? Would it be bad practice if I ended up not paying the two other seat deposits? I am also submitting my deposit for the school I’m negotiating with.
