Setup

I’m hoping to install my Starlink Gen 3 soon. My house was built in 2008 and has cat5e wiring throughout. However, the hub where the router needs to connect to that is in the basement with 2 stories above.

I also ordered TP-Link Deco X55 AX3000 Mesh System 3-pack which I plan to connect with Ethernet cables on each level. (I think that is better than wireless?) Do you think this combination would get good coverage to the 2 stories above? (The main level right above the basement is the most important!)

Also, should I use the Starlink router and then the mesh? I’ve read others who don’t use the SL router at all for various reasons.
