Starter PvP class

I’m looking to start pvping for the first time ever after years of pve and I’m wondering what class I should play for a beginner?

I am meaning warlock this expansion but I also have a monk at 90 and a rogue at 87. I’m open to playing any class aside from warlock for pvp though (I like to have that guy dedicated to only pve so I don’t get burnt out)

Are casters harder than melee? I saw sub rogue is busted rn but will it be gutted and unplayable after tuning? I have zero knowledge of pvp and so I’m going in blind.
