Help with rent

Hey guys, my boyfriend and I are both moving to thunder bay together and we are looking for either a 1 or 2 bedroom apartment anywhere up to $1800. We are doing the 14 hour drive from the GTA as he is going to Lakehead for his masters and I have more work available pertaining to my own degree (toronto is heavily populated)! I have been on facebook marketplace for months now as we are looking to start renting in May/June but it is incredible to me how few people have actually opened my messages or have listings that are within budget (that aren’t private rooms to rent in shared households). If anyone has any website suggestions or knows a lease ending I would really appreciate the help!
