Mom Let Her Mechanic “Gut” My Car

Basically the title. I have a 2012 ford fusion that I wrecked last summer and I had to leave it sitting at my mom's house because I had no funds to fix it. At her birthday party in February of this year, her mechanic approached me and said he would buy the car from me for $1500. I told him I would consider it. The next morning I woke up to my mom calling me asking me where the key was because the mechanic was there to pick up the car...

I lost it and told her I DID NOT AGREE to sell it to him and he had not even sent me any money. She said he just wanted to "look at it." I told her no. She called me many times trying to convince me to bring over the key. She even tried to manipulate my brother into getting the key from me. So I go to her house with my friend who is a mechanic in hopes that I could get the car started and bring it back to my apartment and just finish the repairs there later. and I notice that the fender had been replaced. I asked her if he did that and she said "Yes. He replaced a few parts internally as well but since you ruined the deal he took the parts back." she also mentions " not to worry about the cost " of him fixing the fender because she paid him and I asked her how much it was and she said it was $1500....| was disappointed but not surprised that she got scammed out of $1500 because that's very typical for her. I had my mechanic look under the hood and we both agreed that nothing was "replaced" but things were removed. We could not get the car started that day unfortunately so I had to leave it sitting for the last 2 maybe 3 weeks. I returned today to find my car looking SIGNIFICANTLY worse

apparently, he removed all the parts that she supposedly had already paid him for. She is a liar and he has a horrible mechanic and I know because I have brought my vehicles over for him to do work on them before and he always left things undone and left my carswith issues.

I calmly ask her what happened since the fender, side panel and ENTIRE FRAM IS MISSING!!!!!! She starts yelling at me and saying she needs me to take the car because she's "done with me" and doesn't want anymore problems with me.....

Can I do anything legally against her?

for now, l am just trying to get the car started so that I can drive it to my apartment and hopefully never have to deal with her again. Being back in her presence just seriously makes me regress so much.
