Update to my Super Cruise needing a subscription issue....

Cliff Notes: Leased new Lyriq in Feb 2025, a few months ago they gave me some free Onstar trial I did not ask for, when the Onstar trial ended it also somehow wipes out my 3 years of included Supercruise. A few infuriating calls later to OnStar with people that had no clue what they were talking about, where I had to point to their own material showing all cars with supercruise get a 3 year subscription, I finally got routed to the EV Concierge who acknowledged the issue and said she will work on fixing it.

It took a while, over the last 2+ months, I got a weekly update that they are working on restoring the Supercruise subscription, nice thing is they kept giving me complimentary Onstar One plan as they worked through the issue. Today finally got an email that Supercruise has been restored for 3 years (now actually longer than 3 years as they added 3 years to today's date) and they gave me OnStar One for 6 months for free for the inconvenience. Whoever gets my car after I turn it in from the lease, will get an extra year of Supercruise as my lease runs through Feb 2027.

The calls in the beginning were making me lose my mind but the last few months it has been painless with them working on the issue in the background and giving me the top of the line Onstar plan while doing so, so they made up for the hiccup in my mind.
