EVE-NG launches MobaXterm but does not open a tab and session

On top of windows 11 I have installed vmware and ubuntu and eve. All of those for my first time. I have it working with routers and switches up and running in EVE-NG. I don't really know what I'm doing with most of this but working with AI's I've got it running. I want to run MobaXterm vs. the default Putty because I want to have tabs. I have installed MobaXterm home edition. When I click on the node in eve, it launches MobaXterm but it just opens to it's home page. If I open a new telnet session and put in the IP of the EVE server and the port of the node, say 32769, it opens a session to the node. So manually it is all working, but I want to do a bunch of labbing so want opening a session to nodes to be quick and easy.

Working with Gemini it has had me make these registry changes to no avail:

[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\telnet\shell\open\command]@="\"C:\\Program Files (x86)\\Mobatek\\MobaXterm\\MobaXterm.exe\" -telnet %1"

[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\telnet\shell\open\command]@="\"C:\\Program Files (x86)\\Mobatek\\MobaXterm\\MobaXterm.exe\" %1"

[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\telnet\shell\open\command]@="\"C:\\Program Files (x86)\\Mobatek\\MobaXterm\\MobaXterm.exe\" -newtab \"%1\""

GEMINI is advising these changes that I have not yet made:

[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\telnet]@="URL:Telnet Protocol"

"URL Protocol"=""

[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\telnet\shell][HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\telnet\shell\open]

[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\telnet\shell\open\command]@="\"C:\\Program Files (x86)\\Mobatek\\MobaXterm\\MobaXterm.exe\" -newtab \"%1\""

I appreciate any help or thoughts. Thanks!
