Sunny AOE attack options

AOE(Area of effect) , in recent chapters it is shown that sunny doesn't really have any AOE attack options or any that are actually useful in fights and don't mention curse charm because it has been utterly useless until now at least in my opinion its AOE attack option is useless against enemies that actually matters . which got me wondering why doesn't sunny use shadow manifestation to create countless tentacles or spikes to attack the butterflies like the one time he used it against broad of the devouring cloud in Antarctica and he used the mass spike attack move many times in Antarctica but since becoming a saint sunny never used shadow manifestation in that way ( he only used it as big wall to ram enemies and separate them)
