Custom wedding websites business idea

Hey,

I’ve been thinking about starting a small business and I’m not sure if it’s actually a good idea or not, so I’d appreciate some honest feedback.

The idea is: instead of traditional paper wedding invitations, couples get their own custom wedding website.

Basically it would include stuff like:

• clean, modern design (not those cringe templates)
• countdown to the wedding
• all event details in one place
• Google Maps so guests don’t get lost
• RSVP online
• a private photo section where guests can upload pictures with a PIN code
• works perfectly on phone (since that’s where everyone opens it anyway)

Main focus would be making it look premium and simple, not overcomplicated.

I’d also try to keep it fast (like ~1–2 days delivery), because I noticed a lot of services are slow or overpriced.

I feel like it could be useful, but at the same time I’m not sure if people actually care enough to pay for this instead of just using something free or sticking to paper invites.

So yeah:

• would you actually use something like this?
• how much would you pay for it (realistically)?
• what would make it a no-brainer instead of “meh”?

Be honest, even if it’s a bad idea 😄
