Need advice with 360 internet troubleshooting

Hello, I am basically brand new to reddit so I apologize if I leave out details or say something wrong, but I recently bought a 360 to play my old 360 games on, and it works amazingly, so I bought a wireless adapter to connect it to wifi, and its having trouble actually connecting to the internet. It connects to my wifi fine, but when actually connecting to the internet, it tells me that theres an issue or the wep key is incorrect (not sure how to fix that). Ive also tried adjusting the frequency to 2.4 GHz. i genuinely have no idea what to do. Any help is appreciated 🙏
