Trying to play blackjack for breakeven + comps… realistic?
Hey guys,
I’m pretty new to counting, mostly doing it because I enjoy it. I’ve got a solid job (100k+) so I’m not trying to turn this into anything serious... I just something fun while I finish grad school.
My goal is basically to not lose (or be slightly up like ~0.3%) and maybe pick up some comps.
What I’m thinking:
- $15–$25 min tables
- 1 unit in negative counts down to around −3 then leave (wong out) if it’s −3 or worse
- at +2 go to ~$50
- cap around $75–$100 if it gets really good when count 4+
Does this actually make sense, or am I just spinning my wheels here?
Genuine question. If this is flawed or I’m thinking about it wrong, I’d rather know. I’ve been enjoying learning the math side of it, just want to keep expectations realistic.
Appreciate any feedback 👍
