Do Grades (Cs) in Community College Matter?

dors anyone know if you get a C in community college will your credit still transfer to UT? I want to apply for the RTF or Communications program and I thought I read somewhere that says the will NOT transfer. just wanted to get a confirmation

i think by the time I’m done my gpa will be like a 3.5
