Returning player here

Where do I even start? Everything has become so complicated.

I remember back when getting the hexed and abyssal enchant relics for the Rod of the Depths felt like a monument achievement and actually finishing the quest felt so rewarding. Now that's just how every quest is, except ten times more annoying and difficult. I'm sick of this cycle of 'you need this fish with this hyper-specific mutation to progress but you can only get that mutation with a rod that you'll use once and never touch again, and the only way to get that rod is through another annoying and difficult quest.'

And that's not even considering how most of these new rods aren't even worth getting. Like yeah the passive might be good but why do most of these newer rods have a worse base luck than a rod I got 2 years ago when the game had 2,000 players?
