William Afton Rant thing

The fandom tends to paint me as, essentially, the Devil if he were human.

Just pure evil with no nuance, and occasionally Art the Clown level sadism.

Many also seem to think that me having a motive (grief, revenge, etc) is saying my actions were justified, or it's "woobifying" me.

No?

Even from a non-fictionkin lens, plastic evil villains like that aren't very interesting to me, in most circumstances.

It might be because in the recent past, most villains have fallen into one of two categories: The Pure Evil Sadist, and The Misunderstood Victim.

I was neither.

And me caring about my children doesn't equal me having been a good father.
