New SD needs advice

Hi. New potential SD needs advice. Never been a SD before. I understand how it works from a financial point of view.

I am early 50's, considered handsome, successful exec, nice person etc. Not looking to waste my time or anyone else's time. Dress well, groomed well, very fit etc. don't need advice on the basics. Tried a few sites that all lead to a WhatsApp conversation trying to entice me into a crypto scam. I keep reading that Seeking is a mess.

Where do I start?

What should I look for so I don't get scammed?

Any SB's who want to give advice it would be appreciated. I am a gentlemen and treat ladies well. I will always respect your choices and hold open doors for you and do the other things I think that gentlemen should do.
