The Gore in invincible

SPOILER FROM THE LATEST EPISODE:

Latest episode in invincible ended with a very bloody fight. Am I the only one who felt that it was too gory and they took it too far? For me I don’t have any problem with gore stuff specially this is a cartoon. But that ending of the episode between Conquest and invincible was way disturbing, this was the 1st time for me to get really disturbed from a scene like this and caused me to somehow not to give it a good rating even though it had epic scenes for the plot. I didn’t feel this way at all with the other episodes. Like the part where conquest was taking the guts out of Mark’s body took so long and made me very uncomfortable. I didn’t have this problem with the old episodes like Omni-man fight with guardians, Mark with Armstrong, or Mark with Conquest in the last episode of season 4. At the end I also want to say I don’t have any problem with gore at all even the real life shows like the boys I enjoy it a lot.
