New egg offering me 1,700 for my 4090

I wanted to get a 5090 and at the time had no idea they would skyrocket to the prices they are at. Do I use this 1,700 dollar trade in for my 4090 and get a 5090. Im going from the msi suprim liquid to the same card but 5090. My only reason for this is because of the new dlss tech coming out and being gatekept for the 50 series cards. I originally held off because getting 10 fps wasn’t worth it at the time and now I’m seeing double my frame rate with a 5090 and the new flashy dlss. What are your thoughts? Am I falling for fomo. Will the 40 series see any of the new frame gen or dlss in the future? Is the 60 series actually going to be mid to late 2027? First world problems I know. But I’d like to hear from some other people what they would do.
