Am I being a jerk here?

A friend of mine is age 64, works as a massage therapist, and wants to find a way to earn income without using her body any more.

She tried Pruvit, lost weight and claims she feels better.

She happens to have diabetes and probably little or no health insurance. I doubt she consulted a doc before starting it.

She offered to sell me some to try, and I did some research, not liking what I read. I wrote to her, and she basically said "I don't care, it works for me, I tried others and I did my own research, I will get out if it does not work"

But, she is in the Mormon church, and once said to me, "I can't watch infomercials any more, I keep buying things" So.....that type of personality. She constantly says "I am happy and you are not, so who is the stupid one"

A fraction of what I sent to her:

A typical dose of Pruvit has roughly 100 mg of caffeine and at most 8000 mg of keytones.  I think you said ten doses would cost me eight dollars a dose.

There are myriad commercial supplement products containing ketones, many of them combined with caffeine.

I came across one on Amazon that contains 1000 mg of ketones for just 20 cents a dose, or $1.60 to match Pruvit's highest keytone content.

I also saw a listing for 100 mg caffeine pills for just five cents a dose.

I'm not saying this is a perfect apples to apples comparison, I'm only suggesting that with some research and numbers crunching you could skip the $50 annual fee and possibly get the same results
