I train consistently but still feel like I’m not progressing… what am I missing?
I’ve been training calisthenics for a while now and I’m not completely new anymore. I can do a few clean pull-ups, push-ups feel easier than before, and I try to stay consistent every week.
But at the same time, I can’t shake the feeling that I’m not really progressing the way I should. Some days I feel stronger, then other days it’s like I’m back to zero for no clear reason.
I’ve tried switching things up, playing with reps, trying different routines, even focusing more on skills for a while, but it still feels like something isn’t clicking.
What’s been confusing me the most is how do you actually know you’re making real progress, not just getting tired or sore after a workout.
I came across this breakdown talking about some “hidden factors” behind why people don’t progress, and honestly it made me question a few things I’ve been doing: He's here
Just wondering if anyone else here went through the same phase, and what actually helped you move past it.
