Should I confess my feelings to this girl?

So I (17) reconnected with a girl from my old school (17) a few months ago. We used to be rivals in history class back then, but now we talk almost every day and the vibe is really nice.

The thing is, her emoji reactions to my messages have been getting stronger and stronger, not every day, but once in a while she changes the emoji reactions and I try to mirror her and also react to her messages with the same emojis: Started with normal ❤️, then 💌 and 💞. Lately she’s been using 💋 a lot, and just recently she switched to 🤍.

I even sent her a long poetic compliment anonymously through NGL and she immediately knew it was me. She sent me a voice message sounding super happy and she says that I'm impressing her every time.

We already had one short date on 8 March and it went well. Now we’re planning our second date soon.

I've also talked to many girls that I have contact with (friends, family member, close classmates) and all of them had different opinions, some said that those emojis mean nothing as they also use emojis very often on random, some said that those are obvious hints and she feels something for me and my cousin even said that she doesn't see anything special in her (as always 🙄).

I really like her and I feel like she likes me too, but I’m genuinely confused. I got rejected and ghosted pretty badly a couple of times before when confessing my feelings, so I’m scared to mess this up.

Should I tell her how I feel during this second date, or is it still too early? If yes, how should I say it without making it weird or too heavy?

I’m kinda lost here.
