Best Neighborhood Closest to Downtown PS

Hi. We are going to PS first week in June to visit and would like to be able to walk to the downtown area. Plans as of now are just relaxing by the pool, and a concert at the Plaza Theatre. We would also like to visit the market on Thursday evening and maybe hit up the casino. Can someone recommend where the best area would be to stay? We are looking into an airbnb, not a hotel at this time. Thanks!
