Issues acclimating new rescue into multidog house

We adopted a 1 yr old husky into our house recently. He is not getting along with our older husky at all. He is hyperactive and extremely untrained. When around other dogs he cannot think, doesn't even respond to food when he is usually food motivated. We've tried leash meetings, parallel walking, etc. Nothing works, the second he sees the other dog he looses his mind and wants to go see him. He is socially inept in that he goes straight into play, literally launches himself into their face which most dogs can take as aggression. Our husky was playing back at first, but today was the first day he corrected him and pretty harshly too. We are keeping them separated for now but i'm just at a complete loss for what to do. Any advice on what works for dogs like this? I am trying to get a behavioralist up here to help.
