A hobby that helps stress of trying to conceive?
I don't know if anyone has any advice for this but I'll take what I can get. My husband and I were trying to conceive for 3 years, then we stopped for a while for many reasons. Life stuff, mental health, physical health, work stuff, etc. Just a lot of things getting in the way. And I had an IUD for about a year because I just couldn't bring a baby into the life I was in at the time. Long story short though, my life suddenly had a huge turn around that was very unexpected and now we're in a great place to start trying again. So we are. But of course because of my failure in the past, all I can think about is if things go wrong again. And if I'm not thinking about that, then I'm just thinking about how much I want a baby and everything I would do for this baby. I can't wait to take a test, but I'm also scared to see the negative again.
So TLDR, I want a hobby that will take my mind off it. I already read pretty much everyday, I play tons of video games (recently been addicted to pokopia), and I've done the coloring books but I can only afford the cheap alcohol markers so they dry out quick and colored pencils hurt my hands. I also journal sometimes and write poems, I went to college for creative writing.
Im pretty open to any suggestions, but maybe not gardening because my mom and I both kill plants. And I have cats who eat anything.
