Second motorcycle

Hi all. I have been riding for the last 20 years and had various sports bikes (R6, R1, street triple) and current daily is a Yamaha MT 10 SP. I use this bike for everything from weekend canyon riding to office commute and it is a blast. I am extremely happy with it. Located in California.

I’m looking to add a second motorcycle to my garage which is opposite of MT 10. I am looking for a used motorcycle that will primarily be used for chill riding around town and occasional 2 to 3 hour getaway (freeway) with wifey. I have my MT10 for all the power and speed needs so looking for something comfortable, 2 up riding and easy to maintain. Currently, I’m looking at a used metric cruiser like Vulcan 900/Mean streak/V Star line of motorcycles. My budget is $5000 USD.

What motorcycle would you suggest? Is there any other motorcycle that I should consider which is not a cruiser?
