Who is living with fibroids?

I’m almost 51 and just found out that I have one huge grapefruit size fibroid. It’s not giving me any issues aside from its size. It’s sitting nice and evenly in my uterus and growing like a baby. Yea, it sucks that I now all of a sudden have a 12 to 14 month pregnancy belly when I’ve had flat abs all my life, but I’m declining any and all interventions. Unless things change drastically for the worst, of course.

I am 21 days late for my period for the first time despite being regular until now. Is this good news for my fibroid? Have you found your fibroids shrinking or stabilizing with fewer cycles?
