Seeking West Loop apt w/dog

Hey hey,

My bf just moved here and is working in West Loop.

He has bad credit (working on it) but good/ stable income.

Listings online have been difficult due to the credit requirements.

He also has a medium sized dog and would need in-unit W/D. Trying to keep his expenses as low as possible like no more than $1,500 (but the lower the better) to fix credit asap. Far (but safe) is ok, just needs to have easy-ish route into West Loop. (Currently commuting 1.5-2hrs to work and it SUCKS.)

Anyone seen/know of any places renting by owner? Driving around looking for signs is kinda rough!
