Best way to progress atlas and good starting tree?

Hey guys, finally got burnt out from trade league after farming a few mirrors and now taking a turn to ssf for the 2nd time (got 3 voidstones the first time but got skill checked by maven) and now looking to go for more. Just wondering what is the best way to progress the atlas, the first time I did it I just ran every map of every tier in ascending order (t1 --> t16) and wondering if theres a more efficient way, thank you!

Any fellow GCoF leaguestarters (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Juvl3aa\_udg&t=1s) can share their item filters/starting tree would also be great :D
