2Qs- 1) Cozy Amber & Vanilla=Repackage? 2) Rose & Oud- Same as Test?
I took advantage of the single wick sale the other day. I've been mulling over these two questions since I brought them home.
- Does Cozy Amber & Vanilla smell familiar to y'all and also not a lot like what the notes say? I don't get amber, and I get even less vanilla. It has an aquatic feel? It feels like a repackage, maybe even from back in the golden era, and I can't figure out what it could be. Ideas? Thoughts? Am I wildly off base?
- To those who experienced or still have the OG Rose & Oud (from the Rose test collection back in 2022) - is this the same scent? B&BW is pretty good for putting a new scent out under an old name (glares at Carrot & Nectarine), and I'm curious.
- EDIT- I actually have a third I forgot! A Toast to Mom! - repacke of Fresh Orange & Champagne Toast/Easter Morning Mimosa? What do y'all think?
For people wondering how Nocturnal Rose, Rose & Oud, and Rosewood & Suede compare- Nocturnal Rose is a repackage of Black Tea Rose (originally Golden Amber & Oak), a scent from nearly a decade ago. (Giddy it's back!!!!!!) It has a true cedar note mixed pretty evenly with the rose. R&S is similar to NR but has a honey note on cold (I know, IDK why it comes across that way to me either) with no cedar. R&O is definitely the deepest, heavy on the oud.
