Professors Good or Bad?

Hi,

I want to sign up for classes based on the professor. I had a bad experience the last time I took a CCP course during the summer, my professor was extremely strict and not considerate at all. I don’t want to go through that again. I’m hoping to get a good grade and boost my GPA.

How can I tell if a professor is good or not? Should I rely on Rate My Professor? Any suggestions would really help, I’d appreciate your advice!
