Lotto rip off

What is the story with the five numbers plus the bonus ball payout?

If I remember correctly it used to half decent. 80k, 100k or 200k etc.

Tonight with 5 million for the grand prize the person with five numbers and the plus got 37k...I wouldn't turn it down but it's hardly life changing...as I would have expected it to be!
