AITAH for showing emotion when faced with adversity ?

I [F23] was recently diagnosed with bipolar disorder. I have shared this diagnosis with my closest friends and roommates so that they can gain a little perspective on why sometimes I can upset at things that would not upset them.

Last week, I quit smoking weed after 4 years of heavy use as it encouraged psychosis. I shared this with my close friends as well stating at the beginning of the week that I was not in a very stable position and was working hard to protect my peace, & so I do not relapse.

3 days after I quit smoking, we were drinking and got into a bit of an argument about the ethics of underage sex. The argument got emotional for all three parties and two disagreed with me and were not arguing with me. Only telling me what I was wrong about and talking over each other and talking over me. One party raised their voice a bit. I, feeling cornered , and visibly getting stressed out by the topic told them 3 separate times I did not want to continue the conversation and could not keep arguing about it. Each time , they disregarded what I said or flat out ignored me and continued demanding I explain my opinion (that I will not encourage my kids to have sex until they are 18, this is the ONLY claim I made and immediately regret). After the 3rd time , I stood up from the couch , and intensely ranted that I am ending the conversation , didn’t mean to offend them, and removed myself.

None have ever known anyone with bipolar. The next day, they were pissed , and cornered me again expecting me to apologize for my behavior. However , I was pissed , because I had shared vulnerable information about them with me quitting weed and having a mood disorder. I have been working for years to get control over my emotions , but on a few occasions have gotten angry over things others would just brush off. (I have never yelled or acted violently in any capacity , only showed anger or sadness in reaction. ) every time my friends who are 21-22 in college have made it a whole situation , and demanded I make some huge apology.

I am new to bipolar , but my trust has been broken because they did not respect my boundaries and then blamed me when I still got upset. Also put me at risk of relapsing. Should people expect me to have as much control over my emotions as every other person in the world ? It seems sometimes that being stoic and robotic is pushed in the modern day. I feel my reactions have been very human in response to serious adversities I have faced. AITA for not wanting to apologize ?
