Super charger mod?

So lately ive been getting a lot of ads for super charger Mods for the 1st to 3rd gen. Honestly I think it would surely be fun to try but I dont like my engine in pieces. Has anyone ever tried supercharging a 6 or speed6? And is anyone willing to try buy one from some weird looking chinese Website?
