Hi everyone,

I need some advice regarding a very frustrating experience with my motor insurance claim.

My vehicle MH14KV7395 Bajaj Chetak Electric met with an accident on 06 Feb 2026. I registered the claim and submitted all required documents properly. Since then, it has been exactly 2 months and my claim is still not settled.

Here is what has been happening:

* The insurer has already appointed 3 surveyors and I have cooperated with each of them fully
* I shared all documents multiple times including hospital papers and bills via email and in person
* Despite this, now they have appointed a 4th surveyor without any clear reason
* One of the surveyors even made a strange comment asking why the injuries were not severe
* Another person kept delaying every time I followed up, just saying it will be done but no progress

Even my father physically visited their office and submitted all required proofs as instructed.

Still:

* No final decision
* No claim settlement
* Only vague replies like it is under process

It honestly feels like they are just delaying the process unnecessarily.

Because of this, my vehicle is unusable and I am facing daily travel issues.

I have already prepared to file a complaint under “Insurer not disposed of the claim”, but I wanted to ask:

* Is it normal to appoint 4 surveyors like this?
* What is the best way to escalate this effectively?
* Has anyone faced something similar and how did you resolve it?

Any help or guidance would be really appreciated.

Thanks.
