Ready to propose but something is getting in the way

July marks the third anniversary with my girlfriend and I feel ready to propose. Both of us are doing ok financially nothing crazy but stable, she owns a condo in Springfield(MA) and has more saved up than I do and I think that gap is part of what is slowing things down on her end she has never said it out loud but when the topic comes up she gets vague and jumps to another topic and that is always pretty telling.

I am not trying to rush her but I also do not want to keep going in circles.

I just want to build something together!!!

For those that the financial differences between partners stood in the way how did you get past it.
