Moved off client
Hi all. I am an audit graduate in the UK. I started on a fairly big client a few months ago, and was scheduled on it for another few months. I have found out this week that I am being moved off this engagement, with my team reaching out to scheduling to find me another. My managers have assured me this is not performance-based, and my previous feedback has been good, however they are running out of work for me to complete, and also budgeted hours. Despite my manager's reassurance, I have admittedly been overthinking this, and wondering if this is a reflection of how they saw me as a teammate. it feels pathetic to say, but ive almost taken it a bit personally, as there are others one grade above me that seem to remain on the client nearly all year round. This is all still very new to me, and I am really concerned about coming across as a lower performer, especially when I have been making a real effort to be a helpful graduate. I wondered if anyone had any experience on this in anyway, and could provide any insight. Thank you! .
