Canadian born Canadian or G1 as anchor

My G0 is great grandmother born in Ontario 1890. My G1 grandmother born in Detroit claimed her Canadian citizenship in 2024 (at 97!) and has her certificate.

Question: Do I need to submit the G0 documentation- the Canadian born relative? Or will my Grandmother’s citizenship work?

I have spoken to 2 lawyers- one says need G0. One says G1 citizenship proof is fine.

I will likely just submit it all to be thorough but would like to avoid gumming things up.
