Superior Twp rental market?

Haven’t seen much of anything come up for rent for the summer. My spouse and I are currently renting in downtown and want to move to Superior Twp for more space (ideally a single family home or townhouse) and the country feel. Since this area doesn’t seem to be as connected to the university systems, do people usually put houses up for rent the month before or as available? Downtown Ypsi rents out for late July/August so early, so I’m used to looking around this time. When is the best time to look in Superior Twp?
