13 pin to 7 pin adapter

I have just hooked up my 7 pin caravan up to my new car which is 13 pin so have to use an adapter and only the right hand side lights are lit on the caravan even just the right light on the reg plate is on not the left.

I have checked the fuses. Can a blown bulb cause this?
