Can't log in from app

Hi all. had my jellyfin server working well, ive installed jellyfin on a new install (same server), backed up on the old install, restored on the new one. From the webui, i can log in and access everything fine, but from the app it will find the server on the network fine, but when trying to log in it says "connection failure". Ive tried from multiple devices, clearing the cache, adding new users and restarting the server to no avail.

Anything else i can do to troubleshoot or fix it?
