I thought you mentioned you were quitting earlier when you went under u/appleslvces. Why now?

There are things in my life that are making life a bit harder than it was before. I don't wish to delve too much into it, as it would be a long, boring tangent into my personal life. The why? It's the things that fall in the "behind-the-scenes" of moderating.

There have been many instances in which gore has been sent, or at the very least attempted to be sent within the subreddit by people, and it's gotten to the point of "If it happens this much, will I be okay enough to see it once it pops up?" I understand that I can't control what people post, do, or say on the internet, but I can at least control how I act on it. So, this is personally the best decision I could've made for myself lol.

Please don't take this as a means of karma farming or getting attention. It's more like finally having closure for a story I didn't know I was still writing.
