Database Mirror Replicated Database?

We want to use database mirroring to copy on prem databases.

I recently learned you cannot have replication on a database with mirroring. That is a limitation for my company.

Instead, I was wondering if I can replicate on prem data (AppDB) to another on prem database (ReplAppDB). Then set database mirroring on ReplAppDB?
