What do I do guyZ

So basically I have had a crush on a person for the last 2 years. I first met him when we were in grade 9. We were classmates. I am basically an ambivert but I am able to make friends with anyone. But I was obviously shy with him so despite being in the same class, we never became good friends. We got different sections in Grade 10 so basically I almost got no chance to even see him. Now we are in 11th grade. But he transferred to the sister-school of my school. So basically all "toppers" and many persons go to the sister school because it has better chances of selections than ours. It's more expensive and it has longer school hours (8 Am to 5 PM) compared to ours (8 AM to 2:30 PM). Now both of my 2 good friends are in the same school (and class & section) as me. I asked them if they want to go to the sister school but they refused. Even I was earlier adamant that I absolutely would not go to the other school. Now even they are wondering why have I changed my mind. I want to transfer to that school. But i barely have any good friend there. One of my friend said that he would shift there in 12th. Now I am stuck Do I stay in my school (and get totally disconnected with him) Or i transfer to the sister school (without any good friends there)

He (my crush) is very friendly and almost an extrovert. But yeah I know that he is 99.99% straight. I know of 2 girlfriends that he has had. I know that I have barely no chances of a relationship with him but it would be very good to atleast have him as a friend. Only if I wasn't closeted earlier, I would have been his friend.

And actually the results for grade 10th hasn't came yet (and our dumbah schools start grade 11 even before the result of 10th arrives).
