PayPal instant bank transfer is being refunded on my mobile banking app?

I get paid through PayPal and transfer my money each month into my bank. I noticed on my banking mobile app that the pending payments which usually clear after a day or so have been changed to refund. Contacted my bank and they said it's nothing on their end. So it's PayPal? Why is my money being refunded without my consent? And how can I get help with the issue? All of their customer service is AI, even their landline is just an AI assistant. Where are the people?
